Nikon's brief asked for a short film to inspire a new generation of visual storytellers. I pitched a reflective piece - a message to my younger self about feeling lost in my early twenties and finding purpose through photography.
I wrote and voiced the film, built the pitch deck, budget, shot list and storyboards, and edited, graded and sound-designed it. I brought in Sam Higgins as DOP and second camera, and we shot on the Nikon Z6III and Z9 in 21:9.
It was Nikon's first project with the university, and their marketing team gave very positive feedback on the finished film.
