For a Moment - Isle of Skye

A short film made to promote wildlife photography workshops on the Isle of Skye.

Role - Director, camera and edit (solo)

Type - Final major project, BA (Hons) Adventure Filmmaking

Filmed - Winter 2025-26

Location - Isle of Skye, Scotland

A promotional film for the wildlife photography workshops I plan to run on the Isle of Skye - a proof of concept to build on in future. Rather than promising guaranteed sightings, it shows what wildlife photography actually feels like.

The pacing mirrors a wildlife encounter: patient and slow, then it all happens at once. Head-mounted footage puts you in the photographer's position, with wind, breath and footsteps grounding it in place. It was made to speak to people with a similar mindset, and to show my own ethos as a wildlife photographer.

It rounded off my degree and helped secure a first-class honours.
